Our COVID-19 Reopening Protocols

In light of the May 20th announcement from the Ontario government regarding the lifting of COVID-19 restrictions, we are excited to announce that we are preparing to re-open our clinic and salon in July.

While we do not have an official date confirmed, the Ontario government has announced that personal services can reopen as a part of Phase Two of the reopening plan. This is expected to begin three weeks from June 14th.

Because we will be reopening later than anticipated, we will be contacting all our clients to reschedule any appointments. In the meantime, we will continue to offer curbside pickup for all items sold in our clinic/salon, so you’ll never run out of your favourite hair and skincare products.

We want to thank all of our wonderful clients for their patience and support during this time.

What to Expect Upon Reopening:

When we do officially reopen, you can expect the same level of personalized service that we have been providing to our community for over 20 years. However, things may look a bit different when we re-open our doors.

To ensure the safety of our staff and clients, we have implemented the following COVID-19 safety protocol based on public health guidelines.

  • The salon/clinic will be regularly disinfected in between clients. This includes door handles, hair stations, and other surfaces that are frequently touched throughout the day.
  • All clients must sanitize their hands upon entering the clinic & salon.
  • All clients must arrive at the clinic wearing a mask.
  • All staff will wear gloves and masks around the salon/clinic.
  • We will be checking your temperature upon entry, and if it is found to be over 37.7 degrees, you will be kindly asked to reschedule your appointment.
  • To minimize traffic, we ask that all clients arrive unaccompanied to their appointments.
  • Our waiting room will be closed until further notice. If you arrive early for your appointment, you will be asked to wait outside or in your car.
  • Beverages will not be offered until further notice. Magazines and brochures have also been removed from our reception area and treatment rooms.
  • If you are sick or have any COVID-19 symptoms, we ask that you please stay home and reschedule your appointment.
  • If you have been in contact with anyone who is sick or having symptoms, please stay home as well.

COVID-19 Screening Questions

Along with our enhanced safety measures, we will also be screening all clients prior to their appointments.

If you answer yes to any of the following questions, we kindly request that you reschedule your appointment for at least two weeks from your original appointment.

  • Headache
  • Chills
  • Sneezing
  • Difficulty swallowing
  • Runny nose and/or nasal congestion
  • Sore throat
  • Nausea/vomiting
  • Diarrhea
  • Loss or reduced sense of taste or smell
  • Shortness of breath
  • Cough
  • Abdominal pain
  • Muscle soreness
  • Unexplained fatigue
  • Fever
  • Travelled outside of Canada or had close contact with anyone that has travelled outside of Canada
  • Been in contact with someone experiencing COVID-19 symptoms
  • Been in contact with someone who appears to have COVID-19
  • Come into contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19

We will confirm this by taking the temperature of all our clients before they enter our clinic/salon.
